Works great!
The original charger cord was beginning to fray and I was glad to find another. Works great and iPad seems to hold the charge longer. The iPad is the early model and only a spare for our special needs son.

This is a good cable. It fits my iPad 1 and 2 without a problem. Like the longer length as well. Can't speak to durability yet as I haven;t had it that long.

I really needed this and it works well.
My original plug for my iPhone 4 is telling me that I’m using the wrong plug. I was surprised that they even made these still. I looked around and found this company offers a comparable deal. I found one for less but, it was 3ft., instead of 5ft., as this one is. When comparing it to the original, it’s not as stout, but I figure, it plugs in firmly, on both ends and the old one has lasted about 10 years, so if I get half that, I’m happy. Heck, if this iPhone 4, lasts another 5 years; wow! All said and done, it came in a nice and professional package. I would definitely refer it to anyone who is milking their old phones, etc., to their last charge. I’m happy my phone isn’t telling me something is wrong, anymore. Haha! I hope this helps!

Ordinary cable
It works to charge my second generation iPad - and the only noteworthy point is that the cable plugs on either end have molded supports that might prevent it from the fraying that plagues my other cables. Other than that there's nothing particularly interesting to write about either in its construction or about its expected durability.

So far it has proven to be reliable. I don’t utilize frequently either.

Broke in 1.5 months
Bought this for mom and she was very happy ( so I give it one star for that ) now I have to find another one since this broke in 1.5 months. This is an old lady so you know the cable was not misused.
