It's the most expensive beverage in the world, but this affordable option makes tasting it possible!
Yes, it is the most expensive beverage in the world, oz for oz. But once you actually brew a cup of this coffee, you instantly see why. With an extremely mellow taste and free of all acidity, Civit coffee is a one of a kind coffee lovers experience. With a Starbucks on every corner, the dark, heavy, acidic brewed coffee has become the everyday coffee for most of us. We usually order it with tons on cream and sugar and Carmel or Chocolate to cut the bitter taste that a dark espresso has. But once you sit and sip a cup of Civit coffee, your coffee snobbery takes on a whole new level. You will enjoy it black, because additives to this exquisitly mellow brew would just cover all the natural flavor that comes out. It's an amazing coffee experience. Some people, upon learning the actual origins of the coffee beans, have trouble drinking the coffee mentally, but you have to remember how many of our other foods and beverages are processed as well. I compare the coffee origin to chicken eggs; both are similarly obtained. Besides, once you taste this coffee, you will never question it's origins again. An amazing product!

Try it at least once
Small enough to try and see if you like it. Hard to describe it... It’s not like going from steel to gold, it’s more like copper to silver

Prove it
Posts that claim animal cruelty. PROVE IT. I am accosiated with a fair coffee trade group. Not all coffees of this type are cruelty.Don't just repeat others posts. If you could prove it you would give alternative, web site blogs backing up brainless Echo's.

Bucket list.... Check
Ignore the fake negative comments from the tree hugging hippies. This is a nice coffee, not quite sure if it's worth the price, but definitely worth checking it of the bucket list. Also, I gave it 5 Stars vs 4 because it came quickly and to help offset the fake bad reviews.

very disappointed
I tried this coffee for the first time and it was nothing special. I ordered whole bean and they sent me ground. I'm suspicious that this was even the real thing because it wasn't at all like the description. I'm very disappointed to say the least and would never get this coffee again.

Wasn't anything special. Tried it just to see what all the fuss was about. I'll take a cup of Haitian coffee over the Kopi Luwak any day of the week!

One the best 2 coffees I've ever had.
This is excellent coffee! When I purchased it it was labeled cage free. Not all luwak comes from caged animals. Too bad the trolls have to sabotage a great product.

Ok but way over priced
Great coffee not sure I am going to spend that money for that coffee. I have a local coffee roaster here that travels and buys coffee from around the world. They roast many variety and every bit as mild and good as this coffee. My local roaster does not mix beans so if you get a specific coffee from a specific grower or zone it is all that coffee not different cheap beans thrown in with expensive beans. Every bit as flavorful and no acidity after taste.
