Mr. Goodbar BD40 White Security Door Grille

Great for extra security. Me and my 15 year old son was able to put this up in about 30 minutes Definitely recommend having 2 people to make sure everything is in alignment for where you will be drilling (using the drill bit). Watch the easy to follow video first. It’s very sturdy and secure. After installing I was able to easily put my mini blinds back up over it so it’s not an eyesore! I also bought Prime-Line U 10827 Door Reinforcement Lock to place on the door!

Works well for securing a door window from break in. This grill can be mounted on either the inside or the outside of a door. Just be sure to measure your window correctly and allow for space on both sides. The grill is close enough to the window that even of someone breaks the window, there is no way they coud get their hand in to undo a bolt or door lock. I use this to protect the outside entry door for my garage and it fits and works very well. Solid metal and welded/ brazed nicely. don't think I will ever have an issue with this!!

Freakin awesome product!!! No other company makes anything like this for some reason. Both our front and back doors have windows and these work great.

Used this on the door to my basement which has 3 large windows! The door is secluded and I was afraid someone could just break the window and gain access. Sturdy. Well made and cheaper than buying a new door!

I actually had a lot of trouble finding an item like this on Amazon. Maybe I wasn't searching for the right thing. I've always worried about how easy it would be smash my backdoor window if someone wanted to break in.While this item was a bit expensive. It was super easy to install and quite sturdy. I had resigned myself to probably having to install the grate on the inside of my door. Because I didn't want the screws exposed on the outside (making it possible to remove the grate). But this item turned out to not need that. Bolts and grate on the outside if installed the way I did.I'm quite happy with my purchase.

This Mr Goodbar doorglass security shield looks nice and I think it would deter a break-in by someone who just happened to see an unsecured door and decided spur of the moment to break-in. However, that is about as far as I would go recommending it as security. It is not as sturdy as it looks and anyone hell-bent on breaking in is still going to be able to do so. And the price is outrageously high for what it is. Would not buy it again.

Everything was as expected from reading other reviews. I had this installed in less than 10 minutes. All you need is a drill and a quarter inch bit and it goes right over the window to door. Very nice product. The only obstacle I had was loosening the plate to my dead boat and putting it over the washer as you can see in the picture, but that was very minor.
