Real Steel Connector Neck Knife Whar RS3152

This is my first Wharncliff style blade. I like the fine point for little jobs, removing splinters, cutting thread, dispatching and gutting fish and small game, and other smallish cutting jobs where a rounded blade just wouldn't fit. Though it is very small, the length of the blade is similar to the flattish cutting area of larger blades. I wear it horizontally on my belt with velcro fastened to the sheath and wrapped around the belt, and it's a good size for that. I tied a double diamond knot from lighter weight 550 paracord that helps add some extended grip for the handle, especially when pulling it from the sheath.

I really do like Wharnecliffe blades, the cutting edge is slightly over 2 inches...attaching a pigtail lanyard will aid in the grip. I have large hands and the pigtail lanyard works great. Sharpening is not bad either.........update The knife was great but, I lost it because the sheath is terrible!!
