Okay.
I'm a 10 & ordered an 11 to use with a thick shock. Too big. I think if you order the correct size for your feet they'll fit fine even with a winter sock. So I'm returning them and will be ordering a 10. The width feels fine for my EE width feet.Quality wise they're okay. Nothing outstanding. The pic is a bit misleading. It looks like they're a really thick full-grain leather. They're not. The leather is a fairly average thickness shoe leather. Perfectly acceptable at this price point. The soles are decent, not too soft. Looks like they'll last reasonably well in ordinary, everyday use. There's one major irritatant that really gets under my skin. The flap under the zip is made of leatherette. I simply cannot understand why manufactures use cheapskate tricks like this to save, quite literally, just a few pennies. It's such a small piece what possible difference can it make to their price point and profitably. Bloody annoying.I think they're a little bit overpriced for what they are. £30.00 would be a fairer price to my mind.

Short life span?
Could be a 1 star or a 4 star review in a few months. I have had the sameboots before and all seemed well at the start, as these do. But the sole wears very quickly at the back, so I use segs to counter that problem. I think it may be the way they are manufactured but the sole can also come off after boots get wet a few times, as someone who worked in the shoe trade, I think there is a possibility that they are not combining the glue with a binder solution, this increases the bond of the glue. It's not just these boots that it has happened to me, plenty have, where I need boots again after less then 6 months. If you have read this I will update in a few months, if these are the same.

Spot-on
I ordered these as a direct replacement for identical boots purchased abroad in 2018, which have proved hard-wearing, convenient and comfortable. The only difference is a slightly thicker sole, of which I approve. After an accident I have difficulty reaching laces on ordinary boots. The double zip makes on and off very easy. I hope these are still on sale in years to come!

Comfort fit.
As I normally take a size 8 to 8.5, I was concerned that a 9 would be too big but they fitted perfectly along with woollen socks. Wore them for 5 hours on first outing with no discomfort at all. Very rare for a new pair. Can thoroughly recommend.

good boot but a bit tight on the ankle
My husband says these are good boots but they are a wee bit tight on his ankles. He got a size up after reading reviews and they fit him OK otherwise. He has treated them with three coats of black dubbin prior to wearing outdoors to soften the leather and make sure that the leather, stitching and seams are indeed waterproof.

Leather upper
Not convinced about these being leather, feels like bonded leather on a hard not so flexible underlay, they dont feel or smell like leather, at best i suspect a thin leather bond on a sympathetic material . They are also tight across the toes, so not so good if you have wide feet .But they are waterproof and warm.

Be careful with size
Very good quality boots. However, I ordered size 10 consistent with all my other footwear but these are much too small in the length. Fortunately the returns process is simple and free. I will make a separate order for size 11.

Good quality boots
The boots appear well made and are very comfortable. The size 10 is slightly large for me but means I can wear them with thicker socks for extra warmth
